Try jiggling the connections at both ends while it's idling see if cuts out. I had a bad from another vendor wasn't crimped on one end gave me fits for a long time till I found it.

I would buy into the theory it will run cooler.. higher pressure , more flow will help keep temp down..

Can buy 2 or more of the Hayden for that price If it fails use the over ride switch to get home .

It will reset with key cycle. If your pulling a load you will notice the defuel more. Either you have to , back off the boost, build the boost fooler, or tune it.
