    This may or may not have a bearing on your truck, I know the GMT900 Subby with rear entertainment have this issue and changing the rear control panel fixed this issue for me Obviously a few years different but not sure how different they are.

    I am not 100% certain but I think this goes into the water jacket on the intake and assumed it was for computer reading

I think my temperature sensors are on passenger side and at the water neck up in the front of the valley...
