Meant to mention (post #8): using 125A starter, it showed very low current flow to batts. even when initially connected. Batts maybe bad? They're about 2 yrs old. Mild SoCal climate, mid to low 40's last few weeks.

I am curious, I thought 'C' always designated trucks & 'K' designated Blazers. My '82 pu has C-10 'badge'' on it & my (2 of 'em) Blazer has K-10 on it. Why do so many refer to 'trucks' as K10, K20, etc? Just wondering, , , , -c- (my 'Helm' book refers to the Blazers as K models & trucks as C)
