What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Door sticker says 245/75R/16s With the 285/75R/16s I had to turn the torsion bars way up to keep the 285s from rubbing on the back corner of the fender wells. I’m afraid that the 265s would do the same. I want to get the ride height back down to stock. Plus, narrower tire makes for better...

I’m thinking the 235s is whats going to go on. Probably be Monday unless Corinna gets here early enough Friday, drops off that motorcycle then gets gone. Time will tell.

I seen that but oaid it no mind. The ECM is currently set up for the 285s so now with a smaller tire it will seem like I’m getting there a bunch faster. 😹😹😹

Weeelz is painted. Going to let them cure real good before getting the new tires installed. IIRC, @ak diesel driver recommended the 235/85R/16 tires. In my notes I have that the 235s are the same height but skinnier than the 265/75r/16 tires. I want skinnier for sure. I used to understand tire...

Going to install those wheels and tires onto this flat fender Dodge Power Wagon, then, the son and I can get it moved from this near swamp and onto the sons trailer. The tires are down onto the wear bars so thats a good purpose to them tires. After the truck gets off the trailer I’ll place...

About a year ago, bought GM type steel wheels for the 2000. Started sand blasting them but that coal slag agent didnt feed so good. Switched it over to the bag if glass media and that stuff feeds very nicely. I was able to get four bags of fine sand from the lumber store so finally, today...

6.5 running like crap after new IP install

If You are in need of a reader device, @QuadStar Tuning told Me about this Autell Maxi AP200 code/sensor reading drvice, cost about $65.00 through the jungle site(as @dbrannon79 would say). You have to choose a vehicle brand, and since every thing I own that is OBD2 is of a GM variety thats the...

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

And Miles City,Terry, Forsyth being very rural towns should be mighty cheap insurance. Or try Angela. All that is there is a post office. Used to be a store, I think they might sell gasoline and some of the essentials for groceries, if the store portion is still open.

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Keepum if its allowable. Mt. Says you have to have the vehicle registered in Mt. if You are employed here. I remember years ago, HP would cruise road construction sites parking lots and write up tickets when crews changed shifts or got off work,

    Air conditioning clutch not engaging

No additional overdrive type of gearing seems it would be money well spent to go with the Quadstar Tuning sux speed conversion. I imagine that the QS conversion had not yet been developed when Your six speed transmission was installed.
