    Correct, pressurize the cylinder, ball valve shut off air watch the gauge drop you can buy or build them , I built one I don't remember the outlet office size. .090 if I remember correctly. I filled the outlet with jb weld and then drilled it out. I did it on my LS

    @DieselSlug do you have a fuel pressure gauge if so check for leak down, it may be dribbling (injector)

    I have reused and resealed mine on 07 5.3 multiple times the bolts just don't seem to want to stay tight. I did have to replace the PS Mani original was cracked. I have a large belt from belt sander I lay on shop take and slide to manifold surface on to true it best I can seems to work fine.

    Since only happens at one particular time it not be issue, however I had a bad extension harness that caused mine to die randomly. While it is idling try wiggling the extension harness at both ends

    Are you using the Dorman wire kit for the upgrade 4x? If so run the brown wire to a dash switch then he can have low range 2wd. Really nice for backing trailers on inclines and such

    Toying with the idea of making this a daily driver. One thing that always been annoying is the the belts. What year is the best set up to swap the a serpentine belt set up? A/C has been dead but I will get that working again for sure.

    I have considered swapping my controller over to an inkbid PID temp controller. You can set ramp up, and the temp spread real easy. I have one on my powder coat oven and it think it would make it sweet to tighten on the spread / temp differential. Using the same a @ak diesel driver now.

    The one on my tractor seems tighten itself .. I have had to crush it with a strap wrench twice.
