    This may or may not have a bearing on your truck, I know the GMT900 Subby with rear entertainment have this issue and changing the rear control panel fixed this issue for me Obviously a few years different but not sure how different they are.

    I am not 100% certain but I think this goes into the water jacket on the intake and assumed it was for computer reading

    I don't know if the 98 is different I will go down and look at my truck in a few minutes. And see if the sensor is different and if I can get any numbers off of it. If my memory serves right. I think my temperature sensors are on passenger side and at the water neck up in the front of the valley...

    Anyone interested in a basically rust free high mile LTZ Subby? Haven't posted it yet locally going to for 5k . 70k on engine rebuild, 15j on transmission rebuild. 4x4 not lights , happy to share pics of anything 4k to anyone here in good faith it is every thing I think it is.

    I could maybe get one. My 98 has forged LCA's , I will try to do that later this week. They do look very similar only known difference right now would be the shock mount holes do not line which everyone has commented on.
