I checked it looks ok? Just worried about the gap between the flex plate and the converter. All the ones I ever did the gap wasn’t that big. I am going to call the transmission shop.

Did that cooler from Kartek except the oem transmission lines with those funky connector ends?

I searched the GM parts ie GM Parts Giant, GM Whole sale. They are all saying those OEM part numbers only fit 96’ on. Mine is a 95’. I believe they will still work.

Thanks guys for the info. Will the stock trans. lines fit the coolers suggested? Also I have Leroy’s braided steel oil lines that fit the oem oil cooler. I’ll research them. I guess I should of researched them before asking the questions 😎 Thanks again.

Hi all, getting close to installing my new Optimizer motor. What are you guys putting on the fire wall in the engine bay? I’ve seen the Dyna Pad product but I’m looking for something a little thinner and that it would stick to the wall and handle the heat. Thanks Gus.

Yes, I was thinking about doing that. Did you notice anymore noise or heat inside the cab without the insulation? On the other site it was mentioned that gassers get a lot hotter than our diesels. I thought it was the other way around. Thanks.
