My wife's brother has an older 4Runner. It's probably got 200,000 miles plus on it, he loves that vehicle, it's been solid. He had to put an alternator on it about 2 years ago, but no major repairs that I know of.

As all the others said, very impressive build, no cutting corners, your a perfectionist with the knowledge to do anything to an engine, wow.

Yelp, a man can spend a great amount of money on older vehicles and still not equal a years worth of high dollar truck payments. The way I see it, if I spend three or four hundred dollars now and then on the old trucks, it's still cheaper than a thousand dollar truck payment.
