If he is referring to anything from the last 10 years, get them tested and balanced
People frequently say that about new injectors. It's been Proved wrong too many times to be trusted. It's worth the time and money to be sure of what you're installing

Years ago I would install new injectors out of the box. I don't remember hearing of many bad injectors back then.
Now days, it's not uncommon to have at least one out of 8 that needs attention.
