    Remote fuel filter

Welcome to the forum Mr. Clopek. Intakes is not a bad job to get removed. If You could do some test fitting and then get an AN swivel fitting that has the port with 1/8th inch pipe threads, then, screw jnto that port a barb fitting, run out a remote hose and install another barb fitting into...

    Hydraulic Clutch Tool worth considering?

Once that slave is shoved to the BH, on the ones I worked on , there is no adjustment. IIRC, there may have been a plug to inspect that the push rod engaged the bearing fork okay.

    Hydraulic Clutch Tool worth considering?

I like that tool. Biggest problem, hydraulic clutches give any way to adjust for free pedal.

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Leaving it hang pan side down and pulling the pan keeps residual oil in pan from leaking through the engine and creating a terrible bad mess. No matter if the pan is drained, still plenty enough oil to make a lot bigger mess.

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Seems that install a clear 1/4” fuel hose on the return system, fire it up and ready to roll. 😹😹😹😹 Get a cheap HF engine stand, hang it, dint roll it over, pan side down then Pull the pan and then pull the heads. Heads most likely are cracked between valves. Also, from what I read a lot about...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

A long time friend, on his 45 cu in Harley. Getting it ready for its first road trip, asked him, hows the brakes, his response, brakes is for beginners, lets ride. 😹😹😹 Yeah, he was dragging his feet to get stopped. He had taps tacked to his boots. In the dark sparks would fly.

Timing chain/sprocket set and an oil pump/pan gasket and it’ll go anothe 150,000 without having to mess with those. At 123,000 its due for at the least the timing chain/sprocket set amd a coolant pump too while You got it offt.

    Hard Start after some maintenance

And when pulling GPs if there are any that seems difficult then stop, do not go any farther. Order in that GP removal tool that Leroy makes and sells. Every 6.2/6.5 owner should be equipped with one such tool. I have always run AC Delco GPs even when I was meching for the DOT over here and have...

    Hard Start after some maintenance

Thats the thing to do. Just because the injectors are acting out dont mean that they are bad. Pull those injectors and get them to a reliable shop, or, there is one member in here that does check, test and adjust injectors. I for some reason cant remember His handle/name. Oh yeah...

Several Jesus type groups and several HD groups along with a couple or three old pickup truck groups. I’m also a member in the gmsquarebody forum, the hdherd forum #hdherd and I am most...

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Come to the conclusion that, its just the nature of the beast, or, pop the rocker covers, valve springs and install new valve guide seals. The good ones, the posi seal units. Then I think that blue smoke on a starup will greatly decrease. That is oil thats burning off the tops of the pistons...
