    Suburban Heated Seat Option

Hell, even the one in my 09 Yukon is getting a little weak. But, the A/C seat works great, and that's what's more important to me, LOL.

    Suburban Heated Seat Option

My 98 Tahoe had 'em. Just be careful, because the element in my 98's driver's seat was shot when I got it. Never did fix it. Passenger seat got hot as hell, driver's seat got lukewarm after a half hour drive.

How to get Amsoil as cheap as possible?

All I know is it's a significant savings to be a Preferred Customer, lol.

How to get Amsoil as cheap as possible?

From what I understand, Preferred pricing is the same as dealer pricing, you just can't resell it (or, aren't supposed to). I'm currently under Ashton as my "dealer", not sure if he's still a vendor here?

    1952 Ferguson TO30

Looks good!!! There was a video I saw on how to use a torque wrench with a crow's foot, basically you offset the crow's foot so that it's 90* to the head of the ratchet.

    I've decided to do a Cummin's conversion

No way, it's way too underpowered. And the Nissan is a 5.0L Cummins.

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

    Looks like the Dual-Manual.

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

I was going to say, first thing I'd do is get it home, give it the once-over with new fluids and filters, wash and blow out the radiator stack and take it out for a drive and get on it a little bit, and get a feel for it.

Front Hub unit bearings: What brand is the best quality?

Timken or SKF unit bearings for sure. I always shop around between Rock Auto, Amazon and others for the best price including shipping. The parts stores' markup on name-brand bearings are ridiculous. I replaced 5 unit bearings on my old Bonneville. 1 of them was POS NAPA bottom shelf BS that I...

Mmmm, love me Bilsteins. Definitely a huge improvement. Made our D-max handle like a new truck again!

Any good way to clean crusty carpet?

Best thing with carpet is to remove it, power-wash it, then get a stiff bristle brush and some laundry detergent and go to town scrubbing it, then power wash again and let dry. Seats, you'll need a carpet cleaner/vacuum that just works on the surface, then let them dry really well. Power washing...

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

I get my Allison and Racor fuel filters from Greg (Lubrication Specialist) and get Amsoil TorqueDrive (TES295 spec) with my preferred account ($20/yr, pays for itself on one order over $50).

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

Yeah, that's not worth much at all. So you didn't end up getting the first truck?

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

Gotcha. We already have the S&B CAI on there, that's why I was asking. Didn't really want to cut up the intake...

88GMCtruck's 98 Silverado Towpig Build: "Black Fox"

That's like when I got a tune on my G8. Went from being quick and having pickup, to being an absolute blast. It's amazing how these vehicles are neutered from the factory...

I hope the 6.5L fleet does not revolt....

Never had issues in our 05 LLY, although if we tow heavy, it usually isn't far, and if we tow far, it isn't usually heavy. So, idk... GL with the purchase! Sure does look pretty rough for 154k miles, but I guess that's 10 years in the oil-fields...
