    Gauge bounces a bit...down then up. Auto zone fan may be done 5 yrs. Lifetime...tried to r/r it but new one had stripped threads. Looked so good just put old one back on for the time being.

    Drove an hr on the 99 fwy in a good heat. Running 190-200 then 210 ish. Is that normal? 60-65 mph.

    No the angle of one of the hose nipples is a little off. So the stiff old hoses don't fit well.

    Blow by became noticeable when I changed the depression regulator. Miss fit...leaks a bit...

    My brother did 5 transmissions. All less than 50,000 mi. I added two coolers with sensible driving. Trans in over 200,000 mi. And regular service. Fluid stays red.

    People get leaks after r/r head gaskets! Engines use oil new from factory. GM used these tablets new from the factory. Machine shops over cut heads.... the 6.5 is not a holy relic that needs a red carpet treatment. My diesel guy who has a very successful bus in town says that the tablets work...

    Head cracks etc. It seems like they should and do.

    He says it heats the water and blows it out the overflow. A combustion leak...never out the exhaust.
