Be careful what you order from RA! there are lots of counterfeit chineesium knock-off delco parts. always replace with GM or AC Delco, but get them from authorized retailers. you can look them up on the AC Delco website. and never trust the jungle site ether. some parts made in china are...
I've put together some links from the jungle site for fittings needed to add a permanent mounted fuel pressure gauge to a DS4 IP. keep in mind that your FFM has the fuel inlet hose routed underneath the intake and this hose is a pre-formed hose. this process will require you to pull this...
@Will L. I found all of this on the jungle site for easy ordering. we might want to save these links for others if they ever need them. please correct anything I mentioned above too!
Now all of the above I mentioned is meant for a permanent mounted fuel pressure gauge and you do NOT want to use a mechanical gauge with a live fuel line running into the cab unless your looking for a fire hazard!
invest into an electric fuel pressure gauge if you want to permanently mount it...
This will fit into the top of the IP and allow you to connect a tee, but will require you to re-route the inlet fuel hose.

Then you'll need this tee...
quick and simple, use the second type fitting Will shows. to use the fitting in the first pic he shows, you will need to remove the small 5/16" barb from the IP and replace it with a male an-6 to #4 boss fitting. the 5/16" barb fitting will unscrew from the larger nut on the IP. I will see...
for clatter to go away after a restart I have no idea. but just guessing some kind of electrical issue. or ECM going south? maybe temp related within the engine compartment. how does it act when everything is cold? not trying to point at the ECM but if it's in the engine compartment and...
the trans will mainly use the TPS and engine RPM for shifts. since it has a MAF sensor, if it's flaky, it also can cause erratic trans behavior too.
what kind of scanner are you using again? I'm not familiar with the pic of that display you showed earlier.
you mentioned it acts up in the same pedal position. have you tested your TPS with a volt meter while the key is on to see if it has any drop outs. or if you can see live data on the scanner for it? also check to make sure it's adjusted properly. it's possible there is an electric issue...
What does your trans fluid look and smell like? sounds like 4th is about to leave the chat. you might look into dropping the pan for inspection of clutch material in the pan and magnet along with a fresh filter and new fluid.
use only dextron 3 not the 6 like GM wants you to use. you can...
Welcome @mannebk being that you have a p30 van, there is a chance that you have a separate TCM controlling the trans rather than the ECM for the engine running both. when you connect with the scanner, are you able to see live data from the trans? input and output speed sensors, gear...
put you a volt meter on the batteries and watch it during cranking. if it drops below 10 volts, the starter could also be drawing too much and shutting down electronics. computers and other electronics don't like less than 10v this can be your entire problem.
my 95 is obd1 but I use the GMTDscan on a laptop. I can't remember if it will disconnect when cranking. seems that those PCM's are slow to communicate on top of if the batteries are low or there is a ground connection issue in path to the PCM it can loose connection to the truck, scanner and...
I think soon as I can get the chance, I'm gonna pull that 6.2 back out where I can tinker with it, and run a compression test. even though it has a crack on the mains. this will determine if I try smearing some lipstick on it and try running it till I can do something.
get the 95 license...
is the 12+ line in the OBD connector loosing power during cranking? sounds like this might be the case. Can connect an alternate source of power to the scanner?
