I think most of is is in that boat with You.
I was retired.
Decided to do some upgrades to my truck.
Discovered I didnt have enough money to buy parts for my toys so had to go back to work.
I am in the hopes that one of these days I will have the opportunity to stop slamming parts on my credit...
Dont have fake book so last time I tried to get in to view someones page it required me to lig in.
Seems I can X through a couple of things and get in and watch videos that Big T and others post just cant get into peoples pages for some reason.
Sent Him a message.
Pre flood, sent Him a message. Seems he got one of them 3-D printers and been using his spare time on that.
Maybe He can start printing up some 6.2/6.5 components. 🤷
Yup, IIRC, looking at the ALDL connector, it will be the A and the B terminals.
Turn on the ignition switch to run.
Should be one flash followed by two flashes, for a cycle of three times, code 12 to let You know there is communication to the ECM.
Then count flashes after that. They will repeat...
Before going any farther.
I fired up the engine and run it one more time.
The engine accelerates just fine up to about 2200 RPMs, it runs a little rough and makes its smoke to about 2600 RPMs.
After that up to 3000 RPMS its smooth as can be and nor more smoke.
Going to install the intake and run...
I didnt think the stuff in the pail looked dark enough to cause problems.
Right now I just can not make up my mind.
So far to pull this pump and install my original unit all there is is the turbo, fuel lines to the injectors, then fuel hose, IP gear bolts and the mounting nuts.
If I install the...
Tried switching pump drivers with no improvement.
I’m at a loss other than installing the original lift pump back onto the engine, I know it was properly functioning except the advance stepper motor shaft was seized up.
Or else install the intake manifold and see if that makes a difference.
I’m...
I installed the momentary switch from the Leroy Diesel lift pump harness into the relay and pump wire onto the Air Dog system.
Now I can turn on the lift pump from under the hood and bleed the filters and drain the T-Valve without having to turn on the ignition switch from in the cab.
Got that...
A picture of the container hanging in a little more light.
Now letting that pail of fuel from the T fitting set to determine if there is bio diesel present.
If there is ANY amount of bio stuff will it separate out and settle in the bottom of the pail ?
One thing I did see was quite a bit of...
Does this look too dark ?
The previous refueling took about 20 gallons. I did not add any two stroke to that tank of fuel. The last refueling I added about a pint of two stroke, that was about another 20 gallons.
And it was on this tank that the code about the optic sensor tripped.
This is the...
Nice scaffold.
With the inverted V bracing in the middle of the walkway, will that make it feel somewhat tippy when stepping from one edge to the other 🤷 ? ? ? ?
I had fueled at the CENEX Zip Trip and mistakenly filled with their regular run of the mill diesel that most people fill up with, instead of their RoadMaster blend.
I did add about a pint of TC-W3 two stroke oil plus about enough Stanadyne Performance Formula supplement to make up for the...
Thank You GM for the display of Your goodies.
You have a wonderful selection.
The diamonds in the valley of that engine block is an especially good sign.
I will give that a try, draining out the T valve.
I have seen no signage on the pumps that I use that advertises that any portion of the fuel is bio diesel.
Seems most every vehicle I own is of a quirky nature.
Triumph motorcycle, not just a Triumph but a 1974 Triumph T150 V Trident.
Getting a top end rebuild.
Then a 1978 MG B Roadster.
Stepson taking it for a drive.
