In my truck you pull the front drive shaft then remove the three bolts and unclip wire harness for encoder motor removal. Pretty easy. I think may have a Genuine GM encoder motor if you are interested. I bought the wrong one. 🤦♂️ And they would not take it back. 🤬

I soldered the connections, still didn't work. I bought a new switch, still no worky. 🤬
I've replaced everything except the transfer case.
Only thing I will do now is recheck for proper ground. I did this first thing last year, but just read that sometimes the thin wiring breaks.
I would love...
I pulled switch apart. Looks like the top 2 prongs are broken or cracked. I wonder if I resolder these if the switch will work?
I suck at 12v diagnostics and soldering.
My AGM batteries were fine. Then they were not. Binary. Either worked or it didn't. Not like the slow drain from lead acid. They fell right off the cliff. I tried charging with smart charger. No good. Snowflake as they suggested, no good. Regular type charge. No good. I couldn't save them. I...
Could be bad ground or a bad switch. At least for the 2006 NP263XD Duramax transfer cases. Mine is doing the same exact thing. I started with the ground. It was fine, but I ran a wire as a backup to a good source up front. I don't have a means of testing, so I replaced front actuator in front...
