Don't keep adding cans. you can easily overcharge the system and then it definitely wont work. Think about what you could do to your engine if you keep adding oil without checking the dipstick simply because it was running rough.
When it does work you say it's ice cold. That means the proper...
Thanks. I've seen those, but as bald as they are I'm not going to pay that much. Right now I'm running the spare and using the defective tire as the spare. It's on the front end so diameter difference between the front tires isn't an issue in 2wd. Wife has the truck and is gone for the week...
no problem with mine. could feel it kick in all the time where we use to live, steep icy roads in 2wd. Kept me from needing 4wd in town when the roads were 1/2 icy 1/2 dry pavement.
They were on Toyo AT carcasses. I don't know at this point what I'm going to do. I have no money to be buying tires. Just got done sinking money in my wifes car replacing the fuel pump, alternator bracket, and AC compressor. Never thought I'd be putting in a fuel pump and AC compressor that...
I'll save you guys the saga of the last 10 months of bad luck. Suffice to say today just added to the pot. Was bleeding the brakes and saw this. I guess thankfully I saw it before my wife took the truck on a 600 mile round trip next week and have a front tire blow going down the interstate...
7-7-13; 76,000 miles :D :D :D
Tomorrow is my first day on the new job. Waiting for my first full paycheck to show up the beginning of next month so I can double flush my tranny to get the Dex III out.
I didn't even get 20k out of the Les Schwab Toyo AT's that I paid over $1,100 for before they hit the wear bars. Have about 15K on my treadwrights and they still look new and almost half the price. Worked out pretty good for me :D
They help vs. deer. I've tagged a couple pretty good with my previous patrol rigs with no damage to the truck or brush guard. As far as elk and moose, been my experience with the crashes I responded to over the years that no bumper is going to save you from expensive repairs. They are too...
Are you stuck in 4lo or 4hi.
If 4hi I think you can unplug the actuator on the front end and it will disengage. May need to go back and forth a little to release the binding tension. Then you're home free since your still in the high range.
Not sure what a temp fix would be for stuck in 4lo
For all intense purposes the only difference between those two is the axle ratio. Yes, a 2500HD will be a little heavier because of the bigger frame but not so much that it would drastically change mpg.
I would find it very hard to believe a 6.0 w/ 4:10 on any configured pickup could get 18...
It cools off, but there are some slight differences that make it worse (at least in my experience)
1. Riggins to Lewiston, and up the Clearwater river and Lochsa river it gets damn hot. Not uncommon to see 120 degrees in July/August.
2. Due to the geography there aren't the constant...
We just moved into a new rental house with central AC. First place I've ever lived in that has one. My plan is to leave it around 73-ish.
House we own in N. Idaho (and trying to sell) was built in 1908. Lots of fans and a window unit in my room that I'd run at night to get it below 98...
Quadrasteer was an excellent idea, but put on the wrong platform. What truck needs it more, extended cab short bed or crew cab long bed that's over 22' long and takes a farm field to turn around? Sadly, I bet it wasn't physically practical to make a rear steering axle on a 3500. Would have...
