    When I torque them, I torque the stud tighter than the nut. I don't know if it does any good.

    Also beware of the stud turning with the nut. I have a wrench ground thinner to get in behind this to hold the studs.

    If they don't pop test they should be replaced under warranty. If they need anything done to them to be balanced / pressure adjusted, it should be covered under warranty with replacement injectors. If you fix new injectors, that might void the warranty

    I wouldn't trust any new injectors. Until I heat of a long run. of new injectors that needed nothing b when tested, I won't be changing g my mind.

    I would go for the fuel pressure gauge at the injection Pump first. Electric lift pump next. I would Install a lift pump relay. If you ever go with a Powermaster starter, I would install a starter relay, if it doesn't have one. It seems a 1990 should have come with an electric lift pump. My...

    If you get a new set, I would have them tested and balanced regardless. I heard John Faddis may sell new injectors, already tested and balanced.

    My 1989 was the brick filter on the back side of the engine A lot of people cussed the brick filters. I never had an issue with mine. Changed every oil change/ 20,000 miles.

    I missed that. Not sure on the year. 1988 or 1989 should have had the factory electric lift pump, so it shouldn't be to hard to plumb.
