Pictures from the latest build. Motor getting ready for install, modifications to the RAM linkage to use the stock H1 throttle cable and cruise control, Fan and Shroud setup.
Ahh, not as familiar with the DBW yet, but I've dealt with some older TPS related issues and the resistance changes when the wiper is wearing in the "normal driving speed range" makes things a little glitchy.
N8, when the weather gets good, you need to stop by and get a ride in it, and bring extra undies. Ha!
There is a couple vids of it on the FB fan page and a friend of ours posted one in his You Tube
I did the autopsy on the blown up one that we replaced with the MP2225, the input shaft was twisted and bent in two places, planet gears were twisted and chipped, selector ring was twisted egg shaped, case was twisted, ... yeah can imagine the damage with a little HP upfront in 2wd.
The support...
That's one of those things like hiding chocolate from a kid, tell them it will rot your teeth and make ya fat but they find the stash anyway. Ha!
It's gotten worse now that another company is selling a pretty pricey unit and advertising 18% fuel savings.
What I've done so far seems to work and...

Using a Yank T/C, haven't broke one yet.
Working on new timing gear covers over at our machine shop now and planning a waterman for his motor upgrade.
We haven't had problems with the FASS unit yet, but in talking with them they recommended deleting the supplied plug and soldering the wire...
Haven't found the pics of the drive shaft hoops we made, I'll try and remember to take pics this week.
The motor is .020 over with Mahle pistons, Hamilton cams head, Hamilton 188/220 cam, 88/66 Compound, Fire Ringed head, 14mm Studs top and bottom, Gorilla Girdle, JGS BV system, Farrel Diesel...
N8, yeah, he takes it to Silver Lake to play.
We've got the Outerwear's on the filter and BV. I'd like to get them on the shocks as well. Ha! Wrap the whole truck! What a mess to clean when he's done for a weekend.
