    Rebuild Time

Did you buy a new piston, or did you have an extra laying around? Matt

Banks sidewinder exhaust manifold group buy.

Good Stuff Leroy! I'm really digging the bright red P400. So, how about a little more info on your new crankcase ventilation setup? :) Matt

Running Too Much Boost, And Blew A Head Gasket.

Couldn't be happier! She's accumulated 800 miles since the heads, and the coolant level is always full, and its running strong. I pulled my car hauler trailer with an 03 Chevy Trailblazer on it for 200 miles. I had no problem running 75-80 on the interstate. :D Matt

What do you guys think about Water/Methanol kits?

Aw come on, you can't leave us hanging like that.:D Matt

    A military rebuilt 6.5

Looking good Nate! Where did you get your converter from? A triple disc sounds like a great addition to a performance build. :) Matt

What do you guys think about Water/Methanol kits?

I don't want to be any stronger if it means shivering, and I'm already a Character! :D Yes, I still plan on doing a WMI, but it will be on the conservative side, as I have no desire to be pulling heads again anytime soon! :D Matt

    A military rebuilt 6.5

Well, you certainly won't lack for air flow! :D Matt

What do you guys think about Water/Methanol kits?

Sorry about that. I guess you don't want to hear that my high for tomorrow is in the 70's. :D I really do feel for you guys, as I probably wouldn't leave my house in the weather you've been having. Matt

Nice work Nate. I've never worried much about noise reduction, but if I did, that looks like it would be the way to go. Matt

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

I had to go copy, and paste a smiley just so I could properly convey my reaction to that video Ferm. Wow! Thanks Matt

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

Ferm, I don't suppose you have any vids from before the wife put the kibosh on the WOT runs. :D I know its not a 6.5, but I bet its a very lively GMT400. I know it would put our 6.5's to shame, but I don't care if I'm dead last in these vids, I love seeing what people do with their trucks. :) Matt

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

Although its been a little rocky, I love the direction this thread is going right now. I would love to see some your vids Paul, as its always fun seeing a combo thats different than most. :) Although, nothing will be as good as the vids of you, and SS Force having fun.:D Matt

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

Ferm, I'm sure you had to notice that my run was boosted. I very briefly brought it up to the torque converters stall, and let off the brake. On mine, it seems to be a wash, whether I'm boosted or not. If I'm boosted it always leaves spinning to 30+ mph. If I'm not boosted, it still usually...

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

Lets not forget Nate's run. I think its the fastest of all posted here. By my count, he's in the 8 second range. He's running an hx40 in his Tahoe. Matt

Bring it on! Att vs. Hx35

Rob, there is alot of truth in the CKO's being a crap shot, and I don't mean reliability wise. The measurements don't ever seem to be what the sellers say they are. If you scroll down this page of my build thread, you'll see what I'm talking about...

    A military rebuilt 6.5

Just the thought of pressure washing in that kind of cold sends a chill up my spine! :D So why do you have both timing covers, and plate out there? Trying to decide which ones your going to use? Matt
  18. bowtiebutler956

What do you guys think about Water/Methanol kits?

Freezing is not a concern for me. :D We haven't had a single day below 32* yet this year, and thats the norm for my area. I'm still mowing grass.;) :D Matt

    A military rebuilt 6.5

Its a little device that keeps us guys who run smaller turbos from going booom. :D:D Matt

Nate, what diff does your Tahoe currently have, 8.5? If so, that larger diff is a wise choice with your setup. Those lifters should work perfectly for checking your clearance. Nice work. Matt
