    Bad motor mount/trans mount has shown me the two and twist differently in reverse than in forward. So when idle and going forward no issue but when loading them the other way : Possibly pinched fuel supply or return line? Possibly tension on wires disconnecting a little? Possibly shorting wires...

    Ok- after the 3 time key cycling: did it still start very poorly or did that make it a faster start? I don’t remember - have you tried plugging in the block heater to make it start easier? If not, you need to do this. This will tell us it is a glow plug issue because heat solves the problem...

    AK DD has it right. DON’T ground the light, make sure any of the mounting screw do NOT complete a ground to the light. Only the two wires in the connector- one to your power source the other to ground.
