During my lunch today I replaced the front sway bar bushings on our 2014 4Runner. Took me about 20 minutes. Seems like the noise I was seeking to address is gone, but I will wait for a full off-road test to confirm.

I was experiencing rattling noise over bumps and potholes on the driver’s side. While doing an oil change, I did some yanking on the sway bar and discovered some play there, where there should be none. Thus the need to change the bushings. I had previously changed the links about 2 years ago when one broke.

Although we have not tested it off-road, we’ve hit enough bumps and pot holes that I can say the clunking/rattling noise is gone.

We are driving north to Montana, but first picking up a rescue English Springer in Vegas and transporting him to a Springer Rescue in Couer d’Alene, Idaho where he will meet his final adopters next Friday.

Should be fun. True rescue dog with a story. Owner was a 90 year old veteran living in senior living in Marin, CA. 90 year old woman with a small yipper dog next door. The dogs got into a fight, woman reached in to separate them and got bit. That had the Springer designated a vicious dog. They saved him from being euthanized by moving him to boarding in Vegas where he’s been 6+ months. The dog is fine. Needs out of boarding and they’ve now found an adopting family.

Good / bad story and a nice pup.

Sorry for the original owner to lose a nice dog. Too bad He didn't lose the neighbor instead.

A while back there was a 90 year old that was trying to give a young lab away, if my situation wasn't as it is, we would have take the dog and brought it back for visits as we could.

Right now my daughter's 2 muts are staying at our house, since her house burnt before Christmas. One is part rot and one part pit. Both very nice pesto dogs. She list her cats. Both found by doors. The family just made it out with what they were wearing. The community really stepped up in support.

We have shock collars for both to train them for the perimeter of the property, but while we were there, they always came back on call. We'd really hate to see them hit on the road. Some toning and shocking is a lot better.

We really got attached to the dogs in the short time before I went in.

Someone from her family has been over at least daily, since I've gone inpatient Christmas day. I'm doing great with the Carvykti CarT for high risk Multiple Myeloma and am scheduled to head home February 1st.

I will be outpatient at a nearby hotel starting tomorrow, checking in at the hospital for vitals and some more drugs regularly.

I might actually miss being inpatient a little. No laundry, meals delivered - surprisingly edible food. Not having to deal with parking- $70 daily at the hotel and 1/2 hour lead time for the valet and minimum $5 tip if you want your car back as is, in Shitcago.

I'd never do something like this at a facility that didn't have attached or very close lodging again. I'd never do this in Chicago again. Terrible traffic, shootings daily. Crazy parking fees.

I had wanted to switch to University of Iowa originally. As they would use all of the testing from University to Chicago. St Louis wanted all new tests run at their facility. My wife vetoed that as not wanting to drive the additional 1-1/2 hours each way. - that would only have been for the pre appointments. Once your inpatient, you're there for 5 weeks.

I have a friend woth MM that has been after me to see her Dr in Milwaukee for years. I finally went to see him when things were going south this fall.

He did get things moving, but said we were to close to My T cells getting destroyed - the 2nd week of January - to change facilities at that time.

If I hadn't gone to see him or got in as soon as I did, I would have had to start the whole process over as my T cells would have been destroyed due to being 9 months old.

Every other facility we considered outside of Chicago had attached or nearby lodging, sometimes with a shuttle & free or low cost parking.

I recently heard there's a Luthern General facility near O'Hare airport that we never looked into.

Just wanted to share some, in case any of the other old farts have to deal with similar stuff

Geez you are going through a lot.

Yes the neighbor woman was a piece of work. California law on vicious dogs requires euthanasia, thus the dog was moved to boarding in Vegas. They report that Buddy is a happy dog and doing fine, but they don’t like to hold them in boarding for so long. Wife was doing the return trip anyway, so I checked to see if she’d transport Buddy. She agreed. Then my employer extended the Return to Office to January 20 and I thought hmmm, I could go. Took Monday off and I will fly back on January 19. So it’s a quickie trip, but nice to spend the time with my wife.

So sorry to hear about your daughters house, such a bummer, especially before Christmas. Glad that they got out alive, could have turned out alot different.

I wish you success on your medical visits, hang in there, they will get you straightened out. All we can do is pray and hope for the best, never giving up.

She commented that it was the first time she was ever done Christmas shopping that soon before Christmas.

We did what emergency shopping we could do, so they had something to open for the 2 Christmas birthdays and Christmas gifts.

She said today that the grandson's pos girlfriend saw fit to steal towel sets that the community had given them. So they need more now.

The little itch also had a gofundme started as though she lived in the house.

They need to be shed of her or she needs some serious mental health.

Sounds like they're stuck with her for another 18 years. At least my grandson is.

She's bipolar or something. She has to create conflict or drama. She can't stand a normal life.

She's just like her addicted mother was.
It's at least partially the way she was raised & maybe part a messed up brain.

She spent a lot of time in foster care and the rest in a crazy home life.
She's a very convincing liar.

If anybody has any ideas. This girl really needs to be dealt with.

We don't have a clue what to do to help on this issue, but it's causing the family a lot of unnecessary concerns and turmoil.
