First time diesel owner. Parts changer and mild diagnostic capabilities as a mechanic. I inherited a 1994 k3500 dually ex cab from my late father. As he aged tje truck sat with very little attention for the better part of ten years. It has definitely tested my patience and continues. In 2000 the truck got a ip and had continued with problems . new long block was needed after cracked cylinder and truck was put back together with engine parts from old and new bolts seals and other. It got a new ac pump ..lift pump and batteries then sat and was started rarely and with no consideration of fuel conditions etc. Here in 2020 i received it and replaced leaking fuel lines and filter housing. Batteries and cables and ends. Checked all grounds and condition of most things under hood was crispy after long summers in the sun. fuel guage is not correct. And suffered a front drivers blowout causing damage under hood. Fixed all. Found vac lines and got turbo to spin.. Truck is stalling at all times. Driven a little in the heat and all fluids changed twice as i felt it needed.
