Taken forever, but finally getting around to welding the headache rack on.

Oh this thing has struggled with starting. Even with new batts and tested the starter power cable for voltage drop (it was alright) it would barely turn over. Reading up it's a common 7.3 issue so upgraded to a higher end starter. Cranks over at almost the idle rpm now, hell of an improvement.

Test fitting and designing fuel system layout. Driver side box will have roughly half of it occupied by the fuel system. Filler neck at the top of the box.

Sandblast/paint top and bottom, but not till next year.

Base of the headache rack is cleaned up, ready for welding.

Wired in tail lights, and mostly mocked up and measured the headache rack along with other stuff.

Finally some notable progress on the bed. Setting the headache rack, winch, and fuel tank on tomorrow, test fitting.

Engine is back together, runs smoother with faster throttle response. Now back to the bed

Finally assembly progress. Fuel system is assembled and bled of air.

Lol one thing at a time, financially wasn't planning to buy another truck for at least a few more years. Unless I come across some money fast the turbo will have to come back off later to fix the cracked exhaust housing and any other exhaust issues. Only in here for the fuel system fix right...
