    Thanks for your reply, They didnt use Julian date codes on the Dalton blocks, from what i can tell. On these blocks there is a code back passender side behind flex plate and front driver side below head But i cant find a resource that explains the codes on the Dalton block

    Leroy Diesel, i have an engine pulled from a hummve. Ive been trying to info on it. After seeing your post about Dalton. I believe that is the block i have. I havent found a resource to identify the date of this engine In the grand scheme of 6.5 engines, how does this Dalton block stand up...
