Former Army Officer. Been around diesels for about 37 years, been around 6.2/6.5 family since the mid-'80's when the CUCV's were intro'd. Diesels owned or used by me at one time or another: '70 Mercedes, '74 Peugeot 504D, '83 Audi 5000TD (wish I still had it!), '94 C2500 C&C, '98 K2500 Suburban. Family motorhome growing up: Angola Coach conversion Flixible VL100 former Greyhound coach with a supercharged Detroit 6-71 and a Spicer non-syncro 4 speed tranny. What fun for a 15 year-old to drive!

'98 K2500 Chevy Suburban LT. Full optioned leather interior. 209K, PMD remount on customized heat sink from 2HP variable freq motor controller. #9 resistor. K47 airbox mods with Iceman oiled gauze filter. Custom projector lo and high beam replacement headlights with 50W 5K HID both positions. LED marker/turns. LED tail lights. Custom exhaust "borrowed" from the '94 for testing. 16x8 American Racing aluminum rims with Goodyear LT245/75/16 E Wrangler HT's - Many more future mods to come: Turbo, intake, IP, injectors, vis-mods.
Past diesels owned (and I wish I still had): '75 Peugeot 504 diesel (the Lead Pig, but it got 36 MPG hwy/24 city and rode better than a Mercedes) '83 Audi 5000 turbo diesel, the long distance runner, L.A. to Lincoln on 2 1/2 tanks of fuel at 75 mph and 34 mpg average.
