    Thanks. I checked and all of the connectors seem to be the same other than the one from the automatic transmission obviously has a whole bunch of plugs for that.

    96 timing issue possibly

    I got it back to running fine and I wiggled and wiggled and wiggled all the wires in all the wire looms and can't get it to do anything. I have no idea at this point

    I check and cleaned the grounds when this first started so I think they are good. I'm thinking it's something with the main engine harness that is under the intake. which would explain why I keep getting these codes for the fuel solenoid and the oil level.

    I unhooked the batteries and got the codes to go off after clearing them again and everything was working fine and then I was driving it and hit a bump and it did it again. so I'm guessing I have a wiring issue somewhere going to have to dig into that further

    well I changed the CPS with one that was working when taken from the truck and now Im getting these codes that won't clear and the actual injection pump timing is showing 0. any ideas?

    I have one just did not have good luck getting the last one off that I tried. haven't gotten back to this problem but it hasn't given me any fits either so.... it's easy to forget

    mine is not hitting the bracket. it's hitting the reservoir for the power steering pump

    I got it loose from the block but was hitting the power steering pump before it came all the way out.
