Could it just be newer wires to the 60G glow plugs? How many of you have changed...
Will L.: I plugged the engine heater in for 11 hours. Checked temp on both sides of engine at one glow plug. Passenger side at 95 degrees. Driver's side at 120 degrees.
Turned key to on....glow plug stayed on for 5 seconds (probably due to heat in engine). Usually stays on for 10 seconds...

Also run about 1/2 gallon of fuel outlet T drain and note the flow and fuel quality. - I do this about every time I work on something. It only takes a minute. And keeps the water trap cleared out.

When I plug in the block heater ....how long should I wait to start the engine?

Will L. wrote and asked me to list all the information on Post 13. Seems like all that you're asking me is answered on post 10 and post 13.
Still waiting to hear Will L's idea on the answers on Post 13.
There are no bubbles at all in the clear hose.
jrsavoie: There is no internal fuel pump in the fuel tank. The lift pump is what pumps the fuel from the tank.
You're other question I listed in the post above . "Leroy's fuel pressure system with 15 lb. gauge. (shows 5 lbs. when pumped up- takes 5 seconds to pump up and then stops)"...

My problem still is the first start...
